Aw, I wish I had the equipment to do astrophotography (of course, I also wish I lived somewhere where I could get away with astrophotography -- light pollution wise).
In the meantime, this is the best I can do. The two brightest objects in the night time sky in proximity to each other.

This is a tough one to do without elaborate equipment, but just the same you've created a nicely designed image, giving just enough size to all elements (the moon, Venus and gray space) to be compelling.
