Ugly ... but GOOD!

We took my best friend Greg to Tommy's in San Francisco. The special today was "Rellenos Negro". The dish was Chicken thighs and sausage in this really tasty black sauce. Yes, black. The dish is a from the Yucatan, and it looks really NASTY, but, holy crap -- it was SO good!

Cantaloupe...

Cucumis melo reticulatus -- the domestic US muskmelon commonly referred to as "Cantaloupe". People who have known me since I was little are well aware the lure this fleshy fruit has on me. Put simply: I LOVE CANTALOUPE .
