Crush season has started in Sonoma County. As we speak, the grapes are being started down the arduous journey which leads to the great quality wine produced in the California Wine Country.

A short trip to the Sonoma County Wine Road (Dry Creek / Russian River / Alexander Valley) today with Greg. It's about a week before the harvest and the crush festivals, so the grapes on the vine are just about the most mature they will ever get.
The last day of touristy-stuff with Shonna took us to the Wine Country of Sonoma. This picture is taken from the deck of the tasting room at what used to be Lake Sonoma winery (I'm sorry, I can't remember the new name).
