Abc Wednesdays -- C is for Curmudgeon

This is Ziggy, our Bichon/Shih-tzu mix. He is what most people would describe as a curmudgeon. We call him our "you kids get off my lawn" dog, because he is always breaking up the other dog's fun and games. It's actually probably a good thing, foster dogs that come to us as really wild get taught some puppy manners by the vice principal and leave a little less wild.

Doggies and a blanket

I really like the subtle contrast of the color of the blanket against the black doggies.

Lying in wait....well, sleeping in wait....

This is a new one for Ziggy.

I heard the cat crying this afternoon and turned to find her waiting at the door to get to the room with her cat box. I couldn't understand why she wouldn't just go the other way until I looked at her cat tree.

Ziggy had taken up residence in on one of the tiers of the tree, the little sneak...

The last doggie picture for a while -- I promise!!

Ziggy got groomed today, and I caught them on playing and got them to look up at the camera at the same time.

Yeah, I know, this is supposed to be the San Francisco Bay Area photo blog, not the "Franson's Dogs" photo blog. The year is early -- it will get better...

'Sup?

Ok, now that you've seen the title, you won't be able to look at the picture without thinking about Ziggy catching your eye as you walk in the room, and cooly saying "'Sup?"

What a brat...

I was looking over some pictures I took today when Ziggy reach up with his paw and pull down the screen on the laptop. Luckily, I had my Curve handy, so I got off a quick snap.

Ziggy looking adorable. We have a framed picture very similar to this that Caryn took after he had been digging in the dirt -- this is the "Clean" version.



And our Clemmy -- the big sister who, apparently, has no eyes. Don't you just love that happy smile?

Tomorrow, the groomer comes and they'll both look a LOT different.

We took Ziggy and Clementine to the dog park.

Ziggy was much more social than Clem. He had to make his introductions to a standard poodle (about 4x his size).

You can feel the intention of the moment -- the lighting and the colors. The whole "nose to nose" thing is just too cool.

Yeah, another picture of the cute puppy...

What can I say -- I know -- this is something like 25 dog pictures (about 1 in 10), but:

• they are so damn cute and
  
• they are around when it gets dark and I haven't taken any pictures that day
