I know, I've been lazy this week -- all these pictures from the same trip to Ocean beach, but what can I say? It's hard to beat these cool views.

I was caught by the image of the tree as distorted by both the shape of the car and the finish.

Yes, it's Tuesday, and I didn't really get out to get any kind of exciting picture -- but this is pretty cool anyway.

Yeah, I know, I've posted the daliahs before, but they are pretty and, well, it's one of those "having trouble taking any good pics today" days.

Give me a break -- this is 172 consecutive unbroken days of a picture a day. I'm pretty sure that this is the longest I've ever done anything every day without a break.

Mulch Texture...

Tuesday's just seem to be lazy days. I'm typically stuck in the office all day, don't get out much, and invariably find myself at 10:00 or later and wondering what the heck I'm gonna take a picture of (with less than 2 hours left to get it posted).

So, here is my pic of the day -- some mulch that is in a pot that Caryn is, I think, planning on using to pot an orchid. Interesting textures seem to make for fairly interesting pics.

Oh what the heck. I'm really full of it. Look at the submission time. This was yet another example of "CRAP, it's damn near midnight and I haven't even touched the camera today -- what the heck am I going to find to capture this late?!?!"

So, I stepped out on my porch, turned on the porch light, pointed my camera at an interior corner, and snapped a close up to grab the texture of the stucco, accentuated by the odd focus caused by the wall surrounding the camera.

Yeah, lame, but I'm 127 for 127!!!

Ugly chair -- interesting fabric...

The fabric is interesting enough, but the chair it covers is pretty hideous.

On the bright side, it is farily comfortable.

Yep, it's one of those "8:30 and no picture yet" days. Not only that, but I just can't find anything that floats my boat with the D70.

Feelin' yucky lazy picture day...

I've got either a cold or serious allergies, and I just don't feel like taking pictures. But, I can't miss, so you get the lazy picture today.

How much is that kitty in the window?...

One thing you should know about this picture is that it was taken at 10:00 at night (don't you love speed flash?!?!). The colors of the bricks and the foliage is hightlighted by the whole "creepy cat eyes" phenomenon.

Hangers...

When you do a picture a day, and it gets to be 10:00 and you haven't taken any yet, you take what you can get.

In this case -- it's a shot down a "tunnel" of hangers. Colors, shadows, patterns, etc. I thought it was REALLY lame when I first saw it, but as I looked, I found that I became more and more intrigued.

Well, this picture was taken today, though the picture that it is a picture of was taken in May of 2005, when my mom, my wife, and I went to Alaska.

Ok, lazy, I know, but I sometimes it's just hard to get a fresh, exciting picture every day.
